MINCAR Model D Electric City Car 5 Door 4 Seat
The Model D takes the five-door platform and strips the specification back to the parts that matter. The motor, the battery, the suspension, the safety equipment and the body structure are carried over unchanged. What goes is equipment: steel wheels instead of alloys, halogen headlights instead of LED, a seven-inch instrument display instead of the twin screen setup, and fabric-look seating.
What remains is a genuinely usable five-door electric car with four adult seats, 1320 litres of folded load space, 100 km/h of top speed and a 220 km range. For a fleet, a rental operation, or a first EV purchase, that is a very short list of missing things.
The trade is straightforward. You give up appearance features and get a materially lower purchase price with no meaningful loss in how the car drives or how safe it is. ABS, EBD, tyre pressure monitoring, front airbags, the reversing camera and rear parking sensors all remain standard.
The same car, the same motor and the same battery as the Model C, with the cosmetic extras removed so the price reflects what you actually need.
01
Specification cut, not capability cut
The drivetrain is untouched: a 34 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, a 115 V 18 kW.h lithium iron phosphate pack, and regenerative braking.
The chassis is the same five-link rear suspension with rear-wheel drive and a sport mode. This is a value trim, not a slow car.

02
What you give up, stated plainly
Steel wheels, halogen rather than LED lighting, a single seven-inch instrument display, fabric-look seats, and the twin-screen arrangement is an option rather than standard.
None of these affect range, performance, safety or load capability. They affect how the car looks and how the dashboard reads at a glance.

03
Still a five-door, four-seat car
The body is the same 3380 mm five-door shell as the Model C, with four adult seats and 1320 litres of load space with the rear bench folded.
Ground clearance stays at 200 mm and the climbable gradient at 20 percent, so it copes with the same broken surfaces and ramps.

Key Features
What sets the Model D apart
01
Five doors, four adult seats
A normal five-door car on the 3380 mm platform, not a two-door with a parcel shelf. All four seats are usable.
02
Same drivetrain as the Model C
A 34 kW motor and 115 V, 18 kW.h lithium iron phosphate pack giving 220 km NEDC range with regenerative braking.
03
1320 L folded load space
The rear bench folds flat, turning the boot into a cargo bay for furniture and appliances.
04
Full safety suite standard
Dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, tyre pressure monitoring, a belt reminder and a door-open alarm are all fitted, not optional.
05
Seven-inch instrument display
A clear, simple driver display in place of the twin-screen arrangement, with the option to upgrade.
06
Reversing camera and rear sensors
Parking aids are standard equipment, which matters in a 3380 mm car that is easy to park but still worth seeing into.
07
Sport mode, rear-wheel drive
Rear-wheel drive through a five-link rear suspension with a sport setting included.
08
200 mm ground clearance
SUV-like clearance with a 20 percent climbable gradient for rough entrances and broken tarmac.

FAQ
Model D questions
How does the Model D differ from the Model C?
The D uses steel wheels instead of alloys, halogen rather than LED headlights, a seven-inch instrument display instead of twin screens, and fabric-look seats. The motor, battery, suspension, body structure and safety equipment are the same.
Is the Model D slower or shorter ranged?
No. It has the same 34 kW motor, the same 115 V 18 kW.h battery, the same 100 km/h top speed and the same 220 km range as the Model C.
Can I add alloy wheels or LED lights later?
Alloy wheels, LED crystal headlights and the twin-screen arrangement are available as options and can be specified at order. Retrofitting is possible but is best specified at order so the electrical work is done correctly.
Does the Model D have airbags?
Yes. Driver and passenger front airbags, ABS, EBD and tyre pressure monitoring are all standard on this trim. On right-hand drive builds the passenger airbag fitment is confirmed at order.
What colours are available?
Eight colourways are offered, with a two-tone body available as an option. Personalised colour matching can be discussed against a minimum order quantity.
How long does charging take?
Approximately eight hours from a standard 220 V household socket. There is no fast-charge version on this model, which suits overnight or workplace charging.
Is it road legal in Europe?
EU complete vehicle certification is available, and charging socket and plug types can be supplied to European, British, German, American, Japanese, Indian, Israeli and Chinese standards. Confirm local registration requirements before ordering.
Can I order left-hand or right-hand drive?
Both are available. The hand of drive is confirmed at order because several equipment items, including airbag fitment, differ between them.
Is the Model D worth buying over the Model C?
If appearance equipment matters to you, the Model C. If you want the lowest purchase cost for the same car to drive and the same safety suite, the Model D is the better value.
