DESCRIPTION

GF Utility Heavy Duty Electric Golf Cart, 6 Seater Utility Cart

Where a standard cart struggles with broken tarmac, gravel shoulders and steep driveway entries, the GF Utility keeps moving. The difference is not dramatic in a photograph. It is dramatic at the end of a shift, when a road-focused cart has bottomed out twice on a ramp and is running with a scraped floor pan.

Three changes do the work. A 20×10-12 tyre package raises the body and softens the ride over uneven surfaces. Extra ground clearance under the floor pan reduces the risk of bottoming out on ramps and driveway entries. Independent front suspension improves wheel control and steering response where a rigid front axle would skip over a rut.

The result is a cart that works as a passenger shuttle in the morning and a service and cargo run in the afternoon, on the same site, without a second vehicle. That dual-use is the reason the GF Utility exists. For estates, campuses, farms and industrial yards, a single multi-purpose cart often covers ground that would otherwise need a road-legal van in the morning and nothing at all in the afternoon.

Bigger tyres, more clearance. Paved route or broken surface, same cart, same operator.

01

What ground clearance actually prevents

The damage that stops a road-focused cart on a rough site rarely happens on the flat. It happens at the transition: the lip where a driveway meets a road, the ramp up to a loading area, the dip at the end of a grass verge.

Extra clearance under the floor pan is not visible in a specification photograph, so it is worth asking to see the cart from a low angle at the point where it will actually be used. On a site with frequent ramp use, this one dimension tends to decide whether a cart survives the year or spends half of it in the workshop.

02

Why the rear section is configurable

A cart that carries people all morning rarely needs the same rear section in the afternoon. On shorter seat layouts the GF Utility can be configured with a flat bed or a cargo box in place of the rear bench, which is the arrangement most estates and site operators ask for.

The trade is straightforward and worth planning early: every seat you remove is a seat you cannot carry. A cart ordered as a six-seat passenger shuttle and a cart ordered as a two-seat utility run are different purchases, and it is much cheaper to decide at the quotation stage than to reconfigure later.

03

Independent front suspension on broken ground

A rigid or simple beam front axle works acceptably on tarmac and badly on anything with a defined edge. When one wheel drops into a rut and the other stays on high ground, the steering response changes and the driver corrects constantly, which on a full passenger load is a real safety consideration rather than a comfort one.

Independent front suspension keeps each wheel tracking the surface, so the vehicle follows the ground instead of bridging it. It is the same principle that makes a road car feel composed on a broken country road, applied to a vehicle that spends its life on estates, farms and sites.

Key Features

What sets the GF Utility apart

01

20×10-12 tyre package

Larger diameter tyres raise the body height and soften the ride over uneven and loose surfaces.

02

Raised ground clearance

Extra clearance under the floor pan to reduce bottoming out on ramps, driveway lips and uneven entries.

03

Independent front suspension

Front independent suspension improves wheel control and steering response over broken ground.

04

Dual purpose vehicle

Works as a passenger shuttle in the morning and a service or cargo run in the afternoon on the same site.

05

Reinforced frame section

Heavier-duty chassis section compared with the road-focused models, for load-carrying duty.

06

Configurable rear section

Flat bed, cargo box or rear bench depending on the seat layout chosen, decided at order stage.

07

Full LED lighting

Complete LED package so the vehicle remains visible when working in low light on unlit site roads.

Applications

Where the GF Utility is used

Estate and farmland

Moving between outbuildings, gates and fields on unsealed tracks and grass verges.

Industrial sites

Staff movement around warehouses, plants and yards where surface quality varies between areas.

Camps and resorts

Guest and supply transport on gravel resort paths, service tracks and maintenance routes.

Event and venue logistics

Course, festival and venue operations where a road-legal van is impractical or not permitted on site.

Seat Layouts

Eight layouts on one platform

1C · 2 passengers

A single forward-facing row. The shortest body in the range, used for single pairs, estate runs and light cargo work.

1U · 4 passengers

One forward-facing row plus a rear-facing rear bench. Compact four-passenger layout for narrow estate roads and short shuttle routes.

2C · 4 passengers

Two forward-facing rows. The standard four-passenger layout for estates, campuses and private roads.

2U · 6 passengers

Two forward-facing rows plus a rear-facing rear bench. The most requested layout in the range, balanced for resort and campus shuttle work.

3C · 6 passengers

Three forward-facing rows, no rear-facing bench. Longer body, all passengers face forward, best for guided sightseeing where commentary matters.

3U · 8 passengers

Three forward-facing rows plus a rear-facing rear bench. High passenger capacity without stretching the body much further.

4C · 8 passengers

Four forward-facing rows. The workhorse group layout for campus and corporate fleet transport.

4U · 10 passengers

Four forward-facing rows plus a rear-facing rear bench. Maximum seating configuration available in the range.

Codes ending in C are forward-facing standard seats. Codes ending in U add a rear-facing rear bench at the back of the vehicle.

FAQ

GF Utility questions

What tyres does the GF Utility use?

The standard fit is a 20×10-12 tyre package. Alternative sizes are available depending on load and surface conditions, and we will confirm clearance before you commit to a configuration.

Can this model carry a cargo bed?

Yes. With a shorter seat layout the rear section can be configured as a flat bed or a cargo box instead of a rear bench. Note that every seat removed is capacity given up, so it is worth deciding the split between passengers and load at the quotation stage.

Is it road legal?

That depends entirely on local registration rules. The GF Utility is commonly used on private land, estates, campuses, farms and closed sites where a road-legal vehicle is not required or not permitted. Tell us the destination market and we will confirm what road specification options exist.

What is the difference from the GF Trail?

The GF Trail is the dedicated off-road model, with an aggressive off-road tyre package, greater lift and hill assist control, intended for trails and genuinely rough ground. The GF Utility is a multi-purpose cart that sits closer to a road vehicle in behaviour while still handling mixed surfaces.

Can I add a windscreen and roof?

Yes. Windscreen kits, side glass, and flat or extended roofs are all available as options. On mixed-surface sites a roof and glass is usually worth specifying, since debris and weather protection matter more when the vehicle is outside for most of the day.

Is the GF Utility suitable for steep site access?

With the standard tyre package and raised clearance it handles moderate and steep internal access routes well. For very extreme gradients or continuous rough terrain we would review the site and recommend whether the GF Trail is the more appropriate model.

What is the minimum order?

Minimum order quantity depends on model and configuration. Share your target quantity, seat layout, rear section type and destination country and we will confirm lead time and shipping method.

How is it maintained?

The heavier-duty chassis and suspension on the GF Utility follow the same general inspection points as the rest of the range: tyres, brakes, battery condition and electrical connections, with additional attention to suspension fixings where the vehicle is working on rough ground. A maintenance schedule can be supplied with the quotation.
